The Abkhazi Gardens
The Abkhazi Gardens offer an escape from the rush of modern life. Created in 1946 by Prince and Princess Abkhazi, it is a heritage garden famous for its majestic trees and dramatic sights. The Gardens are also renown for their Afternoon Tea experience, set in the Abkhazi's original simple, yet elegant home over looking the gardens.
The Butchart Gardens
The stairway to flower heaven. 🌹 These charming steps lead into the crown jewel of Butchart Gardens; the Sunken Garden. Formerly a limestone quarry, this is where Jennie Butchart, over a century ago, envisioned landscaping a delightful garden in its place. Her vision flourished, to say the least – delightful is an understatement! 💐 Photo Credit: Gabriel Kotyrba
