Esquimalt Lagoon - Driftwood Art
Never a dull coastline! Drift away to the living art gallery that is Esquimalt Lagoon, where whimsical driftwood sculptures are put on display. The artists take the natural world as both their medium and their muse with around 20 sculptures spanning the beach-y coast. 🪵 It is also one of seven Migratory Bird Sanctuaries in British Columbia. Watch for blue heron, oyster catchers, mallards and bald eagles flying overhead of this important migratory stopover!
